St. Thomas/St. Dismas Basketball Training Clinic 2003

1. The training clinic will consist of ten Thursday evening sessions from January 9, 2003 to March 13, 2003, held at St. Thomas the Apostle school on St. Catherine.

2. All groups (boys and girls) will go at the same time, 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

3. Please arrive on time, as we are running on a tight schedule.

4. Our goal is for the kids to have fun and learn about basketball.

5. Every player should have a basketball to practice with at home. We recommend getting a rubber junior-size ball (27.5 inches), which is what we use in the clinic. This should cost about $8-10.

6. A homework assignment will be given each week with several drills to practice at home. Spend some time each day with your child on these. Most of the drills can be done in the basement. Check off the items as they are done and turn in the homework sheet the next Thursday. A parent should sign each homework sheet.

7. In case of heavy snow, we will cancel the clinic. Use your judgement, as we will not have time to call everyone.
