How Does Custom Software Work?
Most people have misconceptions about how custom software is developed.
They either think that it is incredibly complicated, like writing assembly
language code line by line, or else they think that it is as easy as
creating a macro in Microsoft Word. In actuality, developing custom
software falls somewhere in between these two extremes. Here's the
inside scoop on how KVUSA will develop a solution to match your business.
Step 1: Initial Meeting
KVUSA will meet with you at your business to discuss your project in
general terms. We will listen as you describe your needs, and get a
general idea of what the project will involve. We may have created a
similar program before (we have developed well over one hundred applications
in the last sixteen years). We will then be able to tell you whether
the project is worth developing.
Step 2: Gathering Information
We will return to your business and interview you in detail. We will
look at all existing forms and reports you may have, whether in a manual
system (receipts, ledgers, etc.) or in computer files. We will also
determine if there is information that you are unable to capture with
your current methods. With our extensive experience in solving
business problems, we will usually be able to find ways to streamline
and improve your processes, in addition to automating them.
Step 3: Design
Using the information gathered, we will developed a detailed design
of the system. This may include any or all of the following: Flow
Charts, Screen Layouts, Database Definitions, and Report Layouts.
Step 4: Design Review
What makes the 3235 movement special is replica watches sale how dedicated it is to accuracy. In addition to the standard COSC Chronometer rating given to each individual replica watches sale movement, Rolex now employs their own barrage of tests to ensure accuracy and reliability over time - that they simply call the "Rolex Chronometer Tests." Inside the 3255 and 3235 automatic movements are the new Rolex Chronergy replica watches sale escapements along with variable inertia balance wheels. There is also a fancy Paraflex shock absorbing system to replica watches sale ensure more accuracy over time. While the 3235 movement isn't about adding functionality, it is about swiss replica watches further refining the longevity and performance of a Rolex movement. The 3235 further has a 4Hz (28,800 bph) operating frequency and a nice power reserve of replica watches about 70 hours.
We will then review with you the design we have developed. We will
make sure that the system will satisfy your needs and allow for
future expansion, before we begin on the coding process.
Step 5: Coding/Testing
We will then create the program. We will pull together well-tested
modules from our library of applications, combining these with custom
programming to create the exact system you need. Depending on the
scope of the project, the coding may be done in phases, where you
will receive part of the application to begin using (e.g. entering
your inventory) while the rest of the program is being developed
(e.g. publishing your catalog on the internet). We will also
do testing of the system at our location before installing it on
your computer or network.
Step 6: Installation and Training
We will install the program on your computer or network, and then
provide all of the training necessary for you to understand the system
and use it confidently.
Step 7: Support and Enhancements
Support is always only a phone call away. We are available to help
you with any problems that come up. We will come back on-site if
necessary. As your business grows and evolves, your custom program may
need to change as well. We stand behind all of our programs, and will
always be available to provide continued support and enhancements. We
have been developing custom software from our Florissant location for
the last 16 years, and we have no intention of changing that. In fact,
we have several clients that have been using the same custom program
(with continued enhancements) for as long as 10, 12, 14, and even 16
years.
